The English professional golfer Justin Rose has been one of the best golfers in the world for quite some time now. After all, the Englishman, who was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, was already on a strong 7th place in the world rankings at the end of 2017. This year, Justin Rose was able to climb even higher in the world rankings and so the now 39-year-old golf professional is currently in 2nd place in the world rankings behind Dustin Johnson.

However, despite the great development at Rose, it was only enough for a tournament victory in 2018 and the Englishman achieved this at the end of May when he beat the competition at the Fort Worth Invitational and won the tournament. In the last two months there was not enough money for another tournament win by Rose, but he still managed to reinforce his position in the world rankings with some good results in the different tournaments. So Rose ended up on a very tidy shared 6th place at The Memorial Tournament at the beginning of June. At the US Open, things didn’t go quite as well for the Englishman, but he still managed to take the shared 10th place at this important Masters. Justin Rose recently made another very strong appearance at The Open Championship, where he finished 6 under pair for the split 2nd place. Here, the Englishman was only beaten by the Italian Franceso Molinari, who presented himself in outstanding form at this tournament and finished with 8 strokes under pair.

Also in the next weeks Justin Rose will surely participate in some tournaments on the PGA Tour again and try to finally win the 2nd tournament this year. The English golf professional would have the chance to do so in the next few weeks at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and the subsequent PGA Championship.
