The Black Forest Golf-Startup “Papa Hummel” stands out by its name alone. Andreas Papa and Markus Hummel are the founders. And together they are “Papa Hummel”. Two golf enthusiastic friends from the Black Forest.
For them, the promotion of ecological awareness, social responsibility and integration as well as accessibility to golf is important. “Our goal is to inspire golfers and those who would like to become golfers with our modern products and innovative ideas,” they say.
In addition to golf tees made of bamboo, pitch forks and ball markers, golf balls are also part of the range. In addition to a reflective coating, the golf balls are characterised above all by some extremely practical details in the packaging. This is a reclosable bag with drawstring and an extra wide opening for easy removal of the golf balls. The bag can be easily attached to any golf bag using the snap hook provided.
Markus Hummel, Managing Director of Papa Hummel, explains: “With our golf balls, we have once again succeeded in creating a golf product with clever ideas that are completely focused on the golfer, which is not only convincing in terms of technical details, but also in terms of real, practical use.
The included “Golf Ball Designer” allows the player to mark each ball individually and thus to recognize it immediately so that there is no confusion on the round.
The golf balls themselves have a durable and robust Surlyn Ionomer cover with a special reflective coating. They also feature extra high compression and an aerodynamic 352-dimple design.
