One day three quite talented skiers decided to combine first-class functionality with simple and attractive design – not flashy, but not boring either. So in 1986, passionate skiers Stefan Engström, Peter Blom and Christer Mårtensson got together in the ski resort of Åre, a small mountain village in the heart of the northern Swedish wilderness, and founded Peak Performance.
