Water hazard

On a golf course there are various backdrops, such as bunkers, or water hazards. These can be a pond or a depression filled with water or a stream. If a golf ball lands in a water hazard, it is usually lost.

Balls from water obstacles are called Lakeballs, these can be bought and played again.

Birgit Grimm

Birgit Grimm was a sports teacher and started playing golf in 2006. Since then she has played on about 400 courses. She prefers to travel by motorhome, preferably in Germany, France, Italy and the Czech Republic. She reports about these trips in the golf magazine.
